Karin & her sister Monika decided to put some money into a cute little house in Okotoks. All Through the House, the store, was born. From there Karin saw her vision of her store, created a loyal following and a very unique look and feel with her neat antique finds, seasonal greenery and Christmas creations. In 2007 she decided to sell and reap the rewards of her hard work & the hot Real Estate market. Her sister, Monika bought the retail store part of the business and  looked for a new location. Luckily the old Rumpled Quilt Skin's place was available. Monika  moved everything and continued to build up clientele and the reputation of the friendly customer service and reasonable prices. After two years at that location, going through construction, construction and more construction, a recession and no relief in sight, the business was struggling. Another opportunity arose just in time.

So keeping with the theme of a house, hence the name, the place right next door became available. Although the house was much older than the previous one, the rent was reasonable and had more potential. After much research, Monika decided to add more olde fashioned candy to the line that already existed, add Chapmans Ice cream and Pop Shoppe pop. The idea was to appeal to a larger audience and diversify. Don't worry, there is still has an excellent selection of antiques, home accessories, Christmas decor & seasonal greenery in the back part of the shoppe, so don't be fooled by the size of the store. It is larger than the previous location, with a bachelor apartment up above and lots of storage in the very back. Her goal at the new location was to become one of the Olde Town Okotoks newest attractions. By offering a place for all ages to come. There is surely something for everyone. With the recession still continuing with no end in sight, that seems to be a smart move as she still remains in business and more people are discovering Okotoks best kept secret!
